Konstantine V. Nadaraia, PhD, is Professor at Far Eastern Federal University and Senior Researcher at the Institute of Chemistry, Far Eastern Branch of the Russian Academy of Sciences. He received his PhD in Physical Chemistry from Far Eastern Federal University in 2017 and completed postdoctoral training as a Fulbright Visiting Scholar at Brigham Young University (USA, 2022) and a research stay at the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis (Austria, 2016). His research focuses on the development of bioactive coatings for biomedical implants, combining plasma electrolytic oxidation (PEO) with polymer drug carriers and naturally derived compounds from Pacific Ocean resources. His work addresses the clinical challenges of implant associated infections, inflammation, and poor osseointegration through the design of multifunctional, bioresorbable surfaces with targeted drug delivery. Dr. Nadaraia is a recipient of the V.P. Demikhov Award for research in tissue engineering and artificial organs, the Fulbright Visiting Professor Scholarship, and multiple awards from the Russian Science Foundation. Dr. Nadaraia is currently expanding his research toward nanoparticle‑based drug delivery systems.

Dr. Laura Di Muzio is a Tenure-Track Researcher (RTT) in Pharmaceutical Technology, at the Department of Drug Chemistry and Technologies, Sapienza University of Rome. She obtained her PhD in Pharmaceutical Sciences from Sapienza University of Rome in 2020 with a dissertation titled "Synthesis and Drug Delivery Applications of Natural and Semi-Synthetic Biopolymers". Dr. Di Muzio is involved in several interdisciplinary research projects, serving as both a research team member and Principal Investigator. Her research focuses on the design and development of innovative stimuli-responsive polymeric, lipid-based, and hybrid drug delivery systems for pharmaceutical and biomedical applications, as well as the development and optimization of advanced bioinks for 3D bioprinting. Her scientific activity has resulted in numerous publications in peer-reviewed international journals, one book chapter, one patent, and several oral and poster presentations at international conferences.

Dr. Hazem Choukaife is a Senior Lecturer in Pharmaceutical Technology at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Universiti Teknologi MARA (UiTM), Malaysia. He holds a PhD in Pharmaceutical Technology from Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin, Malaysia. His research focuses on pharmaceutical technology, drug delivery systems, nanomedicine, and targeted therapies for cancer treatment. He has published numerous articles in high-impact journals, holds a patent in pharmaceutical technology, and has received several awards for his research and academic excellence. Alongside his research, he is actively involved in teaching and supervising undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Ir. Dr. Azimah Ismail is a Senior Lecturer at the Faculty of Innovative Design and Technology (FRIT), Universiti Sultan Zainal Abidin (UniSZA), Gong Badak Campus, Terengganu, Malaysia. She is a Professional Engineer registered with the Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) and has an interdisciplinary background spanning engineering, materials science, environmental technology, data analytics, and biomedical applications. She previously served as the Academic and Postgraduate Coordinator at the East Coast Environmental Research Institute (ESERI), UniSZA.Her multidisciplinary research expertise encompasses material science, biomaterials, organic composites, activated carbon, environmental chemistry, oil spill fingerprinting, data analytics, chemometrics, Six Sigma, water and wastewater treatment, heavy metals, and chemical and process engineering. Her research integrates materials development, analytical techniques, data-driven approaches, and process optimization to address challenges in environmental, engineering, healthcare, and sustainable technology applications.Her current research interests extend into the biomedical and healthcare fields, particularly biomaterials development, antimicrobial materials, smart healthcare technologies, artificial intelligence and machine learning for healthcare applications, infection detection and assessment, and innovative materials for medical applications. Her interdisciplinary research brings together engineering, materials science, data analytics, and biomedical knowledge to develop practical and technology-driven solutions for healthcare challenges.Her broader research focuses on sustainable materials, pollution control, resource recovery, environmental monitoring, process optimization, and innovative engineering solutions for healthcare and environmental applications. She is also a member of the Special Interest Group under the Cluster of Material Science and Nanomaterials at UniSZA, contributing to multidisciplinary research at the interface of materials science, environmental engineering, chemical processes, biomedical technology, and sustainable innovation.

Kunwoo has been the CEO and co-founder of GenEdit since its inception in 2016. Recognizing that the full potential of genetic medicine was constrained by limitations in delivery technology, he developed the company’s NanoGalaxy platform, which enables systematic and iterative screening of hydrophilic nanoparticles. A pioneering inventor in genetic medicine delivery technology, Kunwoo holds over a dozen patents and has authored several influential papers in Nature journals. He earned his PhD in the Department of Bioengineering at UC Berkeley and UCSF

Dr. Tarek Mohamed Kamal Mohamed Metawie is an Egyptian academic and distinguished professor of biochemistry at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Cairo University. Born on March 6, 1955, he earned his Bachelor of Pharmaceutical Sciences (B.Sc.) from Cairo University in 1976, followed by a Master of Pharmaceutical Sciences (M.Sc.) in 1979 and a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) in Pharmaceutical Sciences in 1984. Dr. Metawie began his academic career as an Instructor in 1976 and progressed through successive academic ranks, serving as a Lecturer Assistant in 1980, Lecturer in 1984, Assistant Professor in 1989, and Professor in 1994. Throughout his career, he has contributed significantly to teaching, research, and academic leadership in the field of biochemistry. He served as Head of the Department of Biochemistry at the Faculty of Pharmacy, Cairo University, from 2008 to 2014, where he played an important role in advancing the department’s academic and research activities. His long-standing service and scholarly contributions have established him as a respected figure in pharmaceutical and biochemical sciences in Egypt.
